Job Description:

SPGMC is seeking a full-time (36 hours) highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our staff. The Office Administrator will report directly to the Senior Minister and be responsible for managing several tasks to keep the Church running smoothly. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities:

· Answer telephone, greet visitors, respond to requests, and direct inquiries accordingly.

· Prepare weekly bulletins, newsletters, prayer lists, and other Church material.

· Assist ministries and committees with administrative needs.

· Maintain Church calendar, schedule classrooms and equipment.

· Assist with worship service preparation, including PowerPoint and EasyWorship presentations.

· Maintain membership information and correspondence for the Congregation.

· Assist with financial records and processing, including payables.

· Inventory and purchase Church supplies.

· Miscellaneous other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Possess a strong Christian faith.

· Possess the professionalism, interpersonal skills, and experience required to provide quality servant leadership in a church environment.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) and a willingness/aptitude to become proficient in other software programs.

· Experienced in all standard office protocols and equipment.
