Full Job Description

Join a Team That Is Raising the Standard

MY Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking an experienced, driven, and hands-on Service Manager to lead our service department. We're looking for a leader who is passionate about developing employees, delivering an outstanding customer experience, and building a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

This is an opportunity to lead a growing department where your leadership, operational expertise, and commitment to excellence will make a lasting impact.

Primary Responsibilities

* Direct all daily operations of the Service Department.

* Recruit, train, coach, and develop Service Advisors, Technicians, Dispatch, and support staff.

* Drive technician productivity, efficiency, proficiency, Effective Labor Rate (ELR), labor gross profit, parts sales, and Hours Per Repair Order (HPRO).

* Monitor and improve CSI, online reputation, and customer retention.

* Ensure repairs are completed accurately, efficiently, and with the highest level of quality.

* Maintain manufacturer warranty compliance and ensure timely, accurate warranty claim processing.

* Review repair orders for accuracy, quality, and profitability.

* Partner with the Parts Department to maximize shop efficiency and technician productivity.

* Analyze department KPIs and implement action plans to improve performance.

* Maintain compliance with Stellantis requirements, California BAR regulations, OSHA standards, and all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

* Foster a positive, professional work environment built on integrity, accountability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

* Minimum 5 years of automotive dealership Service Manager experience required.

* CDJR or domestic dealership experience preferred.

* Proven record of improving sales, gross profit, CSI, technician performance, and operational efficiency.

* Strong understanding of:

* Technician Productivity, Efficiency, and Proficiency

* Effective Labor Rate (ELR)

* Hours Per Repair Order (HPRO)

* Warranty administration and manufacturer compliance

* Fixed Operations financial reporting and KPI management

* Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds

* Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
