Full Job Description

Stokes Lawrence is seeking a self-directed, hardworking individual to join our Seattle office as a full-time, on-site administrative assistant on our General Services team. This position follows a regular schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. It is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a professional setting and thrives on a variety of responsibilities that change from day to day.

We are a mid-sized, majority women-owned, nationally recognized law firm with offices in Seattle and Yakima, Washington. Our attorneys and professional staff share a common value system rooted in a sense of collaboration, excellence, client service, progress, and fun.

Qualities We Are Looking For

Friendly and professional with excellent communication skills
Detail oriented with strong sense of organization and prioritization
Responsible and reliable
Adaptable and eager to learn new skills
Proficiency in MS Office with initiative to continually improve technological skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred, but not required

Key Responsibilities

Providing administrative support to the firm’s legal practice assistants and paralegals
Providing support to the firm’s business departments
High volume copying and scanning
Processing of incoming and outgoing mail
Reception back-up coverage
Messenger runs and court filings (on foot in Downtown Seattle)
Maintaining clean, organized conference rooms, kitchens, and common areas
Oversight of supply ordering and stocking
Miscellaneous duties as assigned

Compensation and Benefits

The expected salary range for this position is $25 - $28 per hour. Stokes Lawrence provides professional staff with medical, vision, dental, life, AD&D, and disability insurance coverage, paid parental leave, paid vacation, sick leave and holidays, and contributions to a 401(k) profit sharing plan.
