Full Job Description

Bookkeeper

Audibel Hearing Care Center is a privately held company that provides a wide range of services to our clients. We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to perform a variety of accounting and payroll tasks. Bookkeeping duties include managing client accounts, reconciling bank statements and calculating payroll. The ideal candidate will be a fastidious researcher with a high attention to detail and discretion. You should be able to follow instructions and comply with accounting policies. The goal is to ensure that all the company’s accounting records are accurate, valid and complete so that the company can function properly in all aspects, including tax payments and reporting. Must be able to pass a background check

Duties and Responsibilities

Manage client accounts by coding, coding, coding…
Reconcile accounts by comparing statements
Calculate payroll by following company policies (including deductions, taxes etc.)
Maintain financial records by filing documents and ensuring they are accurate
Manage bookkeeping database by entering data into databases and databases
Verify invoices by checking if they have been paid
Assist in the preparation of financial reports by analyzing data or trends
Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable duties
Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, verifying, and summarizing data (including numbers)
Prepare financial analyses or reports for management approval
Perform other accounting or administrative tasks as needed (e.g. filing documents)

Skills & Experience

Proven bookkeeping experience, preferably in CPA practice
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping principles and practices
Aptitude in data analysis with good knowledge of financial reports and their applications
Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, regulations and procedures along with the ability to apply them in daily work
Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to interact with people at all levels of the organization
Quickbook experience a must

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
