Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer Tech to join our innovative manufacturing team. In this role, you will support the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production of high-quality products. Your expertise will help streamline operations, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives across various manufacturing disciplines. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where precision, safety, and innovation are paramount.

Duties

Assist in project scheduling to coordinate manufacturing activities and meet production deadlines
Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve process or equipment issues promptly
Utilize AutoCAD, Creo, and SolidWorks for designing layouts, fixtures, and tooling improvements
Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation systems
Support machining operations, CNC programming, and CAM programming for various components
Participate in plastics injection molding processes and optimize tooling for quality and efficiency
Develop schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings using CAD software
Perform maintenance on industrial equipment and ensure factory machinery operates at peak performance
Support assembly line processes through fabrication, welding, and the use of hand tools
Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve workflow efficiency
Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards for quality control
Assist with process engineering tasks related to continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on factory experience projects to enhance productivity and safety

Experience

Proven experience in manufacturing or factory settings with hands-on involvement in assembly lines or fabrication processes
Strong knowledge of industrial engineering principles, process engineering, and lean manufacturing techniques
Familiarity with CAD software including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, and Schematics design tools
Experience programming CNC machines, robotics, or industrial automation systems using PLCs or robot programming languages
Skilled in machining operations, tooling setup, welding techniques, and mechanical assembly
Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, GD&T standards, and electrical wiring diagrams
Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards for quality management systems is preferred
Hands-on experience with maintenance of industrial equipment in a manufacturing facility environment
Strong math skills for troubleshooting measurements and tolerances in precision manufacturing tasks
Factory experience involving continuous improvement initiatives or process optimization projects
