Trades Recruiting Specialist

That’s why we’re looking for a dynamic Trades Recruiting Specialist—someone who understands that finding great technicians, installers, and project managers isn’t just about filling a seat; it’s about building the backbone of our business.

Position Overview

As our Trades Recruiting Specialist, you will own the end-to-end talent acquisition process for our skilled trades divisions (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.). You aren’t just scrolling through standard job boards; you are a networking pro who knows how to connect with active and passive talent, speak their language, and show them why Fountain Comfort Group is the best place to grow their careers.

Key Responsibilities

Source & Pipeline: Actively hunt for skilled trades professionals (HVAC techs, plumbers, electricians, installers, and apprentices) through direct sourcing, trade schools, military transition programs, and industry networks.
Platform Management: Optimize job visibility by strategically posting and managing advertisements across primary platforms like Indeed and LinkedIn Recruiter.
Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage the entire hiring process—from writing compelling job descriptions and screening resumes to conducting initial interviews and coordinating offers.
ATS Maintenance: Track, manage, and move candidates seamlessly through our Applicant Tracking System (Paylocity or similar ATS), ensuring data integrity and compliance.
Hiring Manager Partnership: Work hand-in-hand with service managers and regional directors to understand their specific technical needs and cultural fit.
Brand Advocacy: Represent Fountain Comfort Group at local job fairs, trade school events, and community gatherings to build our local employer brand.

What We Are Looking For

The Trades Intellect: 2+ years of recruiting experience, with a heavy preference for those who have recruited in the residential/commercial service industries (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, or Construction).
The Hunter Mentality: You don't just rely on incoming applications; you know how to leverage LinkedIn, social media, databases, and grassroots networking to find hidden talent.
The Communicator: Exceptional interpersonal skills. You can talk about technical specs with a master technician and company culture with an executive.
The Organizer: Ability to manage multiple open roles across different regions without letting candidates or hiring managers fall through the cracks.
