Full Job Description

The Accounting Clerk supports the finance department by performing a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks. This role ensures accurate financial recordkeeping and assists with day-to-day accounting operations.

Job Responsibilities

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Reconcile bank statements and financial records.
Maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets.
Prepare invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Verify accuracy of financial data and resolve discrepancies.
File and organize accounting documents for recordkeeping and audits.
Support Office Admin Assistant as needed by answering main phone line.
Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams regarding financial matters.

Candidate Requirements

Completion of a High School Diploma or GED required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, A/R and A/P required.
Experience with Microsoft Suite required.
Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.

Work Environment

Full-Time hourly position, requiring overtime during month-end and peak periods.
Office-based in-person role.
