Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing immediate medical care to patients in emergency situations, ensuring their safety and well-being while transporting them to medical facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology, and emergency medicine, as well as the ability to perform vital assessments and administer medications as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in emergency situations, assessing patients' conditions and determining appropriate interventions.
Administer medications and injections as prescribed, ensuring compliance with protocols and safety standards.
Monitor vital signs and document patient information accurately for medical records.
Perform triage to prioritize patient treatment based on the severity of their condition.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive emergency care.
Drive emergency vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to traffic regulations.
Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring readiness for emergency response.
Stay updated on best practices in critical care and emergency medicine through ongoing training and education.

Experience

Proven experience in patient care within an emergency medical setting is preferred.
Familiarity with medical terminology and physiology is essential for effective communication and patient assessment.
Experience administering injections and performing critical care procedures is highly desirable.
Knowledge of vital signs monitoring techniques and triage processes is required.
A valid EMT certification or equivalent qualification is mandatory for this position.
