Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Medical Office Cleaner to maintain a pristine, safe, and welcoming environment within healthcare facilities. This vital role ensures that patient areas, examination rooms, administrative offices, and common spaces are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and organized in accordance with healthcare standards. The ideal candidate will be committed to infection prevention, safety protocols, and delivering exceptional cleanliness that supports patient care and staff efficiency. This position offers an opportunity to contribute directly to a healthy and hygienic healthcare environment through diligent cleaning practices and adherence to safety guidelines.

Duties

Perform comprehensive cleaning of medical offices, examination rooms, restrooms, hallways, waiting areas, and administrative spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies.
Sanitize all surfaces, including countertops, medical equipment, furniture, and high-touch areas to prevent the spread of infections.
Handle chemical agents safely by following OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines for chemical handling and storage.
Utilize proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or large cleaning equipment to prevent injury.
Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, or vacuuming using specialized floor care equipment.
Follow strict safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure compliance with healthcare infection prevention standards and environmental services regulations.
Restock cleaning supplies and ensure all cleaning tools are properly maintained and stored..
Support overall sanitation efforts to uphold a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

Strong manual handling skills with an understanding of safe lifting practices for heavy objects.
Excellent attention to detail in sanitation tasks to ensure compliance with health standards.
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, perform heavy lifting tasks, and perform repetitive cleaning motions efficiently.
