BDC Appointment Coordinator / Service Cashier

Franchise dealer is looking for an energetic, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our growing Service Department. This position combines traditional cashier responsibilities with Business Development Center (BDC) appointment coordination, making it one of the most important customer-facing roles in our dealership.

What You’ll DoCustomer Service & Cashier Responsibilities

Greet every customer with a friendly, professional attitude.
Process customer payments accurately and efficiently.
Review repair orders and explain invoices when needed.
Balance and reconcile daily cashier transactions.
Answer incoming service department phone calls.
Maintain a clean, organized front counter and customer waiting area.
Assist advisors and managers with administrative tasks.

BDC Appointment Coordination

Answer inbound service appointment calls.
Schedule service appointments using dealership scheduling software.
Make outbound calls to customers for:
Missed maintenance
Declined services
Recall campaigns
Appointment confirmations
Follow-up opportunities
Respond promptly to online service appointment requests.
Confirm next-day appointments.
Help maximize shop efficiency by maintaining a full appointment schedule.
Work closely with Service Advisors to ensure proper appointment flow.

Comfortable using computers and learning dealership software
Detail-oriented with strong accuracy
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Professional appearance and attitude
Previous customer service, receptionist, cashier, BDC, or dealership experience is a plus—but we will train the right person.
