Full Job Description

Overview

We are a Non-Profit Breast Cancer Survivor Dragon Boat Team and require the services of a bookkeeper monthly to produce financial reports to the Board of Trustees. Also to assist us in developing an annual budget. Our organization will be responsible for paying all receipts

Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other account balances regularly to ensure accuracy.
Prepare journal entries, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and analyze account activity to identify discrepancies. employee payments.
Assist with budgeting, financial report writing, and supporting audits by providing detailed account analysis.
Ensure adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other relevant accounting standards across all financial activities.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role with familiarity in bookkeeping practices.
Experience with governmental accounting or non-profit accounting is a plus.
Ability to perform bank reconciliations, account analysis, and account reconciliation efficiently.
Knowledge of tax compliance requirements.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Familiarity with financial concepts such as budgeting, financial reporting, and technical accounting practices is highly desirable.
