Full Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Lead Bartender to lead our vibrant bar team and deliver exceptional guest experiences. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, ensure food and beverage quality, and uphold the highest standards of hospitality. Your leadership will drive team motivation, maintain operational efficiency, and foster a welcoming environment for all patrons. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your management skills within a lively, fast-paced setting dedicated to delivering memorable moments.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate all aspects of bar operations, including food preparation, beverage service, and customer interactions
Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste
Oversee POS systems to ensure accurate transactions and cash handling procedures
Train, develop, and motivate staff to uphold service standards, including conducting interviews and performance evaluations
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and food handling procedures to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff
Lead shift management by organizing staff schedules, supervising team activities, and resolving operational issues promptly
Analyze profit and loss statements to optimize revenue streams and control costs effectively

Skills

Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking, and food management within casual dining or fine dining environments
Proficiency with POS systems for efficient order processing and cash handling
Strong background in restaurant management with supervisory experience in hospitality or food service industries
Excellent team management skills with a focus on training & development, leadership, and managing hospitality teams
Knowledge of food safety management practices and food industry standards to ensure compliance
Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory control, budgeting, and profit analysis
Proven ability in managing kitchen operations, catering events, banquet services, or bar experiences
Effective managerial communication skills to lead teams, conduct interviews, and coordinate with staff across shifts
Experience with food production processes including culinary techniques relevant to casual or fine dining settings
Familiarity with managing hospitality teams through shift management, customer service excellence, and food safety protocols

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
