Bolt Home Loans is building a different kind of mortgage sales platform.

Experienced Loan Officers receive multiple direct paths into production:

Live borrower transfers from our in-house sales team
Fully Completed mortgage applications taken by our in-house Application Intake Team and delivered directly into the pipeline, ready for you to pull credit and sell.
Company-provided leads for continued follow-up and pipeline development.
Access to dozens of wholesale lenders.
An average loan amount of approximately $415,000.

You are not being hired to spend your entire day searching for someone willing to speak with you.

You are being hired to take real borrower conversations and completed applications, structure the right loan, present the numbers, control the follow-up, and close.

Our in-house team creates borrower conversations and transfers qualified opportunities directly to licensed Loan Officers.

The borrower is already on the phone.

Your job is to take control of the conversation, understand the opportunity, create value, and move the borrower forward.

The Application Intake Team takes and organizes mortgage applications before assigning them to Loan Officers.

Instead of starting every opportunity from zero, you may receive a completed application with borrower information already collected and the file ready for licensed review, consultation, structuring, and follow-up.

You focus on the highest-value part of the business:

Reviewing the borrower’s complete financial picture
Identifying the strongest loan strategy
Presenting the opportunity clearly
Overcoming objections
Maintaining urgency
Converting the application into a funded loan

That gives our Loan Officers more options when a loan does not fit inside one lender’s box. Different lenders have different pricing, guidelines, credit appetites, products, and exceptions.

More lender access means more opportunities to:

Solve difficult loan scenarios
Protect deals that may fall apart elsewhere
Match borrowers with appropriate available programs
Turn more applications into closings

Compensation

This is a commission-based W-2 mortgage sales position with substantial earning potential.

Estimated annual earnings: $80,000–$440,000

Actual earnings depend on funded production and are not guaranteed. Compensation is paid according to the applicable written Loan Officer compensation plan.

With an average loan amount of approximately $415,000, every funded loan carries meaningful economic impact. Loan Officers who consistently convert live transfers, completed applications, and company-provided opportunities can build significant income.

Top performers have also been recognized with company-paid trips to destinations including Costa Rica, Miami, and the Bahamas.

What You’ll Do

As a Mortgage Loan Officer at Bolt, you will:

Receive live transfers from prospective borrowers
Work completed applications assigned by our Application Intake Team
Follow up with company-provided leads
Consult with borrowers regarding their mortgage goals
Review income, assets, credit, property, and loan information
Structure refinance and purchase transactions
Present available loan options clearly and professionally
Explain the financial impact of the proposed transaction
Create urgency without sacrificing accuracy or compliance
Maintain consistent follow-up until the borrower reaches a decision
Keep applications and active opportunities moving through the pipeline
Coordinate with processing, operations, leadership, lenders, and other authorized parties
Maintain accurate records in Company systems
Meet production, responsiveness, quality, and compliance expectations
Operate only in states and circumstances where you are properly licensed and authorized

Strong backgrounds may include:

Mortgage Loan Officers
Mortgage bankers and brokers
Former Rocket Mortgage Loan Officers
Former UWM Account Executives
Bank or credit union mortgage professionals
High-volume call center mortgage professionals
Military veterans with relevant mortgage or sales experience

Minimum Requirements

Prior mortgage sales, loan origination, or closely related mortgage experience
Strong understanding of the mortgage sales process
Professional phone and written communication
Ability to review borrower information and manage follow-up
Ability to work in person from our Bingham Farms office
Reliable attendance and consistent availability
Active Mortgage Loan Originator license strongly preferred. If not, we'll help you get licensed.

Schedule

Monday–Thursday: 10:30 AM–7:00 PM
Friday: 10:30 AM–5:00 PM

This is a full-time, in-office role.

Consistent producers can qualify for a Team Lead opportunity.

Depending on eligibility and the applicable written compensation structure, Team Leads may have the opportunity to:

Coach and manage a team of Mortgage Loan Officers
Help develop newer producers
Earn additional compensation based on qualifying team production
Build leverage beyond their personal pipeline
Take on greater responsibility as Bolt expands

Leadership is earned through production, consistency, accountability, compliance, and the ability to improve the people around you.

Bolt Home Loans is located in Bingham Farms, Michigan, near Birmingham, Royal Oak, Troy, Bloomfield Hills, Southfield, and Downtown Detroit.

Experienced Loan Officers do not need another motivational speech.
