II Corps is looking for an employee to serve as a Instructional System Design Specialist for the Federal Bureau of Investigations. Background: The mission of all training units in the FBI, to include Training Division (TD) is to provide training and professional development to the FBI workforce and our national security and law enforcement partners. Training Division specifically provides direction and support to FBI Headquarters (HQ) and field divisions in the planning and execution of career development training to include curriculum, funding, instruction, evaluation, tracking, reporting, and implementation for the FBI workforce and partnering agencies. The FBI requires curriculum development services that follow a systematic instructional systems design (ISD) process as detailed in the FBI’s Technical Manual for Training Development; demonstrate expertise in the areas of task analysis, curriculum design and development, and instructor led training (ILT); and support the strategic plan to bring awareness and recognition to the FBI.

Position Description: II Corps Consultants, Inc. is seeking an Instructional Systems Design Specialist to develop engaging curriculum and training content. This role requires expertise in instructional design methodologies, including a strong understanding of training development and task analysis, and the design and development of instructor led training (ILT). The ideal candidate will analyze training needs, design learning solutions, develop curricula that support intermediate and advanced skills progression, and transform complex information into accessible, effective learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design and develop instructional materials meeting organizational training objectives

· Apply instructional design principles for effective learning outcomes

· Conduct task analyses to identify training requirements and learning objectives

· Design and develop instructor led training (ILT) courses and materials

· Develop training that supports intermediate and advanced skills progression

· Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex information

· Test and evaluate training materials for effectiveness

Job Requirements (minimum): Qualified candidates must have 5 – 10 years of experience as an Instructional Systems Designer, Curriculum Developer, or similar role, with a demonstrated understanding of training development (e.g., task analysis) and the design and development of instructor led training (ILT). Candidates need demonstrated experience developing training for intermediate and advanced skills progression, strong understanding of instructional design methodologies, excellent communication skills for collaborating with subject matter experts, and ability to manage multiple sensitive projects while maintaining security protocols. A bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field is required.

Highly Desired Skills: Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field. Knowledge of Section 508 Compliance and the application of accessibility standards to training and curriculum materials.
