About us

GlenLakes Golf and Country Club is a small business in Brooksville, FL. We are professional, customer-centric and engaging.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Line Cooks to help support our team. The ideal candidate has experience with preparing a wide variety of cuisine and enjoys working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. A successful candidate will have upscale restaurant industry experience, a passion for food prep, and strong customer service skills. We are looking specifically for line cooks with high level skills on the grill and sautee station.

Responsibilities:

Have a knowledge of cooking techniques for different cuisines.
Prepare meals and side dishes according to customers' needs and preferences.
Be able to explain dishes to wait staff.
Must be able to multi task
Take initiative as a self starter that can work independently without being micromanaged.
Properly set up, break down, and maintain all stock levels for their station.
Prepare food to our exact recipes with correct temperatures and in a timely manner per Chefs standards.
Intermediate knowledge at a minimum of basic food preparation.
Ensure station and kitchen are within state health code standards.
You must be available for Nights, Weekends, and most Holidays with the exception of Christmas. We are open on Thanksgiving, Easter, and Mothers Day.
Shifts are 8 - 10 hours long.
Please have your own reliable transportation. Ubers and Lyfts not included.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week

Upscale and fine dining is a large part of our menu. Applicants that have no experience with cooking fine dining menu items will not be considered for employment. Fast food restaurant experience will not be considered. Do you have FINE DINING or UPSCALE restaurant experience in the kitchen?
