Full Job Description

Job Summary

I'm looking for a current undergrad or grad student in architecture or interior design to help me with my consulting practice. The job is mainly clerical, administrative, with some jobsite visits. Most of the work can be done from home/laptop. I do not have a design office - I work remotely all over the country and from a small home in Eugene (no office).

Duties

Organize site visit photos and create documentation logs (at least half of the job).
Make site visit, drop checks off to contractors, run errands, etc
Create templates for invoices, expense reports, that sort of thing
Help make models of existing and new ongoing projects

Experience

Prior experience or internship in architectural design, drafting, or construction documentation is highly preferred, but if you had a clerical job, that works too
Proficiency in CAD or modeling software, don't care what you use. I have a license for 2D AutoCad right now
Familiarity with graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite for presentation development
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.

I'm a newly registered architect and I'm willing to oversee AXP hours if appropriate. I have a commercial building consulting business which is more than full-time work plus I have several volunteer or private projects (generally unpaid) which have to do with infill housing, ADUs, my passion projects that I could use some help with. I don't have the budget or office for a full-time employee, but I do have up to 10 hours per week of work for the right person, and this could fit around your school or regular work schedule if needed.

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Eugene, OR 97401
