Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Restaurant Front of House Manager to lead our hospitality team and ensure an exceptional dining experience for every guest. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and uphold the highest standards of customer service, food safety, and restaurant efficiency. Your leadership will drive team motivation, streamline service processes, and foster a welcoming environment that encourages repeat business. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to showcase your management skills in a fast-paced, vibrant setting dedicated to culinary excellence and memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise front of house staff, including servers, hosts, bartenders, and support personnel, ensuring smooth shift transitions and optimal team performance
Oversee daily restaurant operations, including seating arrangements, reservations, and customer flow management to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction
Train new team members on service standards, POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, food handling procedures, and safety protocols
Manage cash handling procedures accurately while maintaining accountability for all financial transactions during shifts
Monitor inventory levels of service supplies and coordinate with kitchen management for timely stock replenishment
Enforce food safety standards and sanitation practices in compliance with local health regulations
Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching opportunities, and support staff development through ongoing training & development initiatives
Analyze profit and loss reports to identify areas for operational improvement and implement strategies to enhance profitability
Assist with hiring processes including interviewing candidates to build a strong hospitality team aligned with our service goals
Maintain a positive atmosphere that promotes teamwork, hospitality excellence, and a memorable guest experience

Requirements

Proven management experience in quick service or fast food restaurants with a strong background in food service management and supervising teams
Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
Demonstrated experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, food safety management, and food handling procedures
Prior experience in fine dining or casual dining environments; banquet or catering experience is a plus
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff, manage shifts effectively, and oversee kitchen operations when necessary
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality management and creating welcoming atmospheres for guests
Ability to perform inventory control tasks accurately while managing budgets and analyzing profit & loss statements
Experience with training & development programs for staff; interviewing skills are highly desirable
Knowledge of food production processes including catering services; bar experience or barista background is advantageous
Hospitality or hotel experience is beneficial; familiarity with managing hospitality teams in diverse settings is preferred
