Build Your IT Career with CMIT Solutions
CMIT Solutions is looking for a motivated, customer-focused IT Support and Field Technician to join our growing team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who enjoys technology, likes helping people, and wants a real opportunity to begin or grow a long-term career in IT. We are willing to train the right candidate and care more about attitude, reliability, communication skills, curiosity, and problem-solving ability than extensive technical experience.
This role is intended to be an entry point into our technical career path and can help develop skills used in future roles such as Service Desk Technician, Field Service Technician, Support Engineer, Systems Administrator, Network Engineer, and Technical Lead.
If you have been building technology skills through school, certifications, hands-on work, side projects, helping family or friends, or your own curiosity, we want to hear from you. You do not need to have followed a traditional IT path to be considered for this role.
Our Team, Our Approach
At CMIT Solutions of StamfordHartford, we believe good technology support starts with good teamwork. We work together, support one another, and stay focused on helping clients use technology with less frustration and more confidence.
Our team is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to doing the job the right way. We use documented procedures, thoughtful planning, and clear communication so our work is consistent, professional, and easier to learn from. Around here, "winging it" is not a process, even when it feels tempting.
We are also a growing company that looks for better ways to serve our clients and strengthen our team. That includes using modern tools, improving how we work, and staying curious about technology, cybersecurity, automation, and AI in practical ways that help real businesses.
When you join our team, your effort matters. We value people who are respectful, reliable, curious, and willing to learn. If you bring a strong work ethic, a service mindset, and the drive to build a career in IT, we will help you develop the skills and professional habits to grow.
