Key Autism Services is seeking a Senior Enterprise Applications & Integration Engineer to design, implement, integrate, and optimize the technology platforms that power our growing organization.
This role is responsible for ensuring our enterprise applications including Electronic Health Records (EHR), billing, CRM, scheduling, HRIS, payroll, finance, and business intelligence platforms operate as a connected ecosystem. The ideal candidate combines technical integration expertise with strong business process knowledge to streamline operations, improve clinician and employee experiences, and enable data-driven decision making.
This individual will serve as the technical owner of enterprise applications, integrations, workflow automation, and emerging AI technologies while partnering closely with Clinical, Operations, Finance, HR, Revenue Cycle, Compliance, and Executive Leadership.
Essential Responsibilities
Enterprise Applications Management
Administer and optimize enterprise SaaS platforms including:
Electronic Health Record (EHR)
Practice Management
Billing and Revenue Cycle
CRM
Scheduling
HRIS and Payroll
Learning Management
Business Intelligence platforms
Manage application configurations, upgrades, enhancements, and release testing.
Ensure systems remain scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.
Develop documentation, standards, and best practices for enterprise applications.
Systems Integration
Design, build, and maintain integrations across enterprise platforms.
Develop and support API integrations using REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and webhooks.
Implement middleware and iPaaS solutions (MuleSoft, Workato, Boomi, Zapier, Make, Microsoft Power Automate, etc.).
Create data mapping, transformation, validation, and synchronization processes.
Monitor integration health and resolve failures proactively.
Improve interoperability between clinical, financial, and operational systems.
Workflow Automation & Process Improvement
Analyze business and clinical workflows across departments.
Identify opportunities to eliminate manual work and improve efficiency.
Design automation solutions using workflow tools, low-code platforms, and AI-enabled technologies.
Partner with stakeholders to redesign business processes that improve user experience and operational performance.
System Implementation & Project Leadership
Lead implementation of new enterprise software solutions.
Coordinate requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, training, and post-go-live support.
Manage project timelines and vendor deliverables.
Develop change management strategies to promote user adoption.
AI & Emerging Technology
Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-powered business applications.
Identify opportunities to leverage AI for:
Workflow automation
Documentation assistance
Data analysis
Operational reporting
Decision support
Collaborate with leadership to implement secure, compliant AI solutions that improve productivity and business outcomes.
Data & Reporting
Ensure accurate, secure, and consistent data across enterprise systems.
Support enterprise reporting and business intelligence initiatives.
Develop data governance standards and data quality processes.
Assist departments with reporting requirements and KPI development.
Security, Compliance & Governance
Administer user provisioning, permissions, and role-based security.
Ensure enterprise applications comply with HIPAA, HITECH, and organizational security standards.
Maintain audit documentation and support compliance initiatives.
Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
Vendor & Platform Management
Evaluate software vendors and technology solutions.
Manage vendor relationships, contracts, escalations, and support.
Participate in technology roadmap planning.
Recommend new technologies that improve operational efficiency and scalability.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years supporting enterprise SaaS applications and systems integration.
Experience integrating healthcare or enterprise software platforms.
Experience with REST APIs, SOAP APIs, web services, and webhooks.
Experience with middleware or iPaaS platforms.
Strong understanding of data mapping, ETL, and system interoperability.
Experience with workflow automation platforms.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Experience managing multiple technology projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting healthcare organizations, behavioral health, ABA, or provider organizations.
Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards including HL7 and FHIR.
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
Experience with Azure Integration Services or AWS integration technologies.
SQL experience.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting platforms.
Familiarity with AI platforms including Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI, Azure AI, or enterprise automation tools.
Experience with ERP, CRM, HRIS, and Revenue Cycle Management systems.
