Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse RN (Registered Nurse) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care across a variety of settings, including acute care, long-term care, outpatient clinics, and community health environments. Your expertise will help ensure patients receive personalized treatment, comfort, and support while adhering to the highest standards of safety and compliance. Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and perform catheter care following aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
Assist with diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection/processing, phlebotomy, and imaging procedures like sonography or mammography when applicable.
Support complex procedures such as suturing, tube feeding, ventilator management, dialysis access, and cardiac catheterization preparation.
Monitor patients’ conditions closely in various settings including ICU (Intensive Care Unit), trauma centers, or emergency rooms; manage acute pain and provide critical care when needed.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and long-term care strategies for patients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or behavioral health needs.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain meticulous medical documentation to support quality assurance standards like NCQA (National Committee for Quality Assurance).

Qualifications

Valid RN license with current state registration; additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are preferred.
Experience working in diverse healthcare environments including hospital medicine, emergency medicine, ICU/trauma centers, outpatient clinics, or home & community care settings.
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks; proficiency in ICD-9/ICD-10 coding and medical terminology.
Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology related to medication administration and pain management.
Prior experience with specialized areas such as ophthalmology (botulinum toxin treatment), infectious disease care, occupational health, or senior/geriatric care is highly desirable.
Excellent patient assessment skills with the ability to work effectively with people of all ages—including children in pediatric or neonatal units—and those with disabilities or developmental challenges.
Ability to perform sterile procedures like venipuncture, IV insertion/injection administration and aseptic technique confidently. Join our team where your energy fuels compassionate patient care!
