Full Job Description

Guanabanas Restaurant & Bar

We are seeking an energetic and fun person to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day tasks and management of the restaurant for your specific shift that day. We are seeking someone who loves serving others and really enjoys the restaurant business. We are a unique outdoor venue, so be prepared to do a lot of walking outside while enjoying the breeze among the palm trees. Ideally we are looking for full time employment including weekends and open availability throughout the week.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and assist in managing the restaurant.
- Coordinate and direct the activities of all staff members to achieve efficient and effective service.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
- Maintain the existing systems for managing the restaurant, including steps of service and customer service.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, ensuring that we deliver a great guest experience consistently.
- Ensure that the restaurant is clean and well-maintained.

Requirements

- Previous experience as a Floor Manager is preferred but not a requirement, in the event of no prior management experience you must have multiple years of bartending/serving experience or customer service/sales experience.
- The ability to motivate and direct a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of hospitality and customer service principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. We are completely outdoors, so we are subject to the quick Florida weather changes, you might end up getting wet.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, as required.

-Knowledge of Toast POS is a plus.
