Full Job Description

Must hold current certification in echocardiography as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) via ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) via CCI. A minimum of 1 year of experience as an Echo Tech required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Deliver high-quality diagnostic ultrasound imaging in a dynamic healthcare environment focused on patient-centered care. As a key member of the cardiac imaging team, you'll use advanced echocardiography techniques to support physician diagnosis and effective treatment planning.

Qualifications and Required Experience:

Completion of an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology
Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
Minimum of one year recent experience performing echo procedures, preferably in a hospital setting
Proficient with cardiac ultrasound equipment and associated technology
Exceptional patient communication skills and a strong attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive echocardiogram exams, including two-dimensional, Doppler, and color flow studies, based on physician orders
Accurately capture, evaluate, and record high-quality cardiac images following established protocols
Prepare patients for imaging procedures, clearly explain processes, and address any questions or concerns
Collaborate with physicians to review and discuss imaging findings
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations
Calibrate and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment; report and document any malfunctions

$2,399 - $2,530/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
