Full Job Description

We have an opportunity for a motivated individual to join our Business Office team and assist with patient insurance verification and administrative support. No prior medical office or insurance experience is required—we are willing to train the right candidate. This is an on-site position and is not a remote or work-from-home position.

Contact insurance carriers by phone and use online insurance websites to verify patient eligibility and benefits.
Document insurance eligibility and benefit information accurately in patient demographics.
Obtain authorizations for out-of-network insurance plans when needed.
Assist with incoming patient calls and front office insurance inquiries and questions.
Assist with various Business Office tasks and responsibilities.
Maintain accurate, organized, and timely documentation.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. Previous medical office or insurance experience is helpful but not required. The ideal candidate will have:

Strong customer service and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and web-based applications.
The ability to learn insurance verification and authorization processes.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
The ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment, manage time efficiently, and multitask.
The ability to work well in a stressful environment and in situations that require patience and professionalism.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
