Full Job Description

Case Manager

Personal Injury firm seeking experienced Case Managers. As a Case Manager you must be highly organized and able to work on a varied caseload. The individual will assist the attorney in developing settlements, preparing documents and correspondence as needed. The ideal candidate is motivated, customer-focused, and empathetic. Responsibilities:

Manage cases from demand through transfer to litigation.
Request medical records.
Interact with clients.
Handle property damage portion of claim.
Prepare demand package and medical bill outline.
Draft supplemental demands.
Draft and file Civil remedy Notices.
Draft and audit settlement statements.
Prepare cases for litigation by the following checklist.
Daily interaction with existing and potential clients via telephone, emails, and in person.
Client intake and filing of the claim.
Coordinate treatment for clients
Order medical and billing records from providers and communicate with clients and providers throughout the course of treatment.
Obtain documents necessary to support injury and/or liability positions.
Interact with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances.
Negotiate case settlements with insurance carriers and negotiate a deduction of outstanding medical balances with providers.
Work directly with coworkers involved in the management and support of case files.
Creating and maintaining organized case files.
Prepare comprehensive demands and assemble support for submission to carriers.
Interact with attorneys and present case synopsis when required.
Manage case files from intake to closing under the direction of an attorney.

Qualification:

At least 2 years of experience as a pre-suit personal injury case manager
Must understand and have experience with handling PIP, UM, BI, and PD claims.
Must understand and prepare a case for demand.
Experienced Case Manager candidate for Post-Demand and distributions.
Great customer service, verbal and communication skills with clients and medical providers.
Strong organizational and administrative skills, with an ability to multitask in a team environment.
