Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week
Pay: $20–$24 per hour (based on experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and organized Assistant Property Manager to support an affordable housing community. The ideal candidate will assist with resident recertifications, compliance, inspections, and daily property operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with property management experience who is interested in growing their career in affordable housing.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with annual and interim LIHTC (Tax Credit) and PBV recertifications
Maintain resident files and ensure accurate documentation
Coordinate unit inspections, including scheduling, resident notices, tracking repairs, and re-inspections
Assist with affordable housing compliance and file audits
Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and housing authorities
Support the Property Manager with daily administrative and operational tasks
Provide excellent customer service to current and prospective residents

Qualifications

Property management, leasing, or administrative experience preferred
Affordable housing, LIHTC, PBV, Section 8, or HUD experience is a plus but not required
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and PDF management
Willingness to learn affordable housing regulations and compliance requirements

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with RealPage or similar property management software
Experience working in affordable or subsidized housing communities
Experience coordinating inspections or resident certifications
