About the Role
The Low Voltage Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of low voltage systems across all Trademark Venues properties. This includes audio/visual equipment, landscape and architectural lighting, networking infrastructure, security cameras, alarm systems, and other technology that supports our operations and guest experience.
This position works closely with the Maintenance team to ensure all systems remain reliable, organized, and operating efficiently while supporting new installations and improvement projects.
What You’ll Do

Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems including speakers, security cameras, lighting fixtures, control panels, and related equipment.

Troubleshoot hardware, wiring, and network connectivity issues using a structured diagnostic approach.

Assist with structured cabling, equipment installation, and system upgrades for new construction and renovation projects.

Install and support wireless access points, LAN switches, patch panels, and Power over Ethernet (PoE) devices.

Coordinate with internet service providers, alarm vendors, and other contractors during installations and service calls.

Perform preventative maintenance and complete assigned work orders in a timely manner.

Maintain inventory of equipment, tools, and replacement parts while ensuring proper organization and labeling.

Collaborate with Maintenance, and Operations teams to support venue improvement projects.

Maintain accurate documentation of completed work and system updates.

Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Perform other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
Experience
-
High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational/technical school preferred.

2+ years hands-on experience with low voltage systems installation or maintenance.

Experience reading schematics or blueprints preferred.

Hospitality or event venue experience is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
-
Familiarity with audio/visual systems, lighting controls, and security cameras

Strong competency with hand tools, power tools, and cable pulling equipment

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between venues

Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in elevated or tight spaces

Must be comfortable working independently and in pairs for efficiency

Bi-lingual (Spanish and English) language skills a plus
Preferred Qualifications

CTS, CEDIA, or low-voltage certification

OSHA-10 certification or other safety training

Familiarity with Power over Ethernet (PoE) networks and wireless systems
