Full Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Take your MRI expertise to a dynamic clinical setting in a 13-week assignment supporting both inpatient and outpatient populations. This role offers the opportunity to perform advanced magnetic resonance imaging procedures in a modern clinic. You’ll be integral in ensuring accurate diagnosis and exceptional patient care, utilizing Siemens MRI equipment and the Epic EMR system.

Schedule:

5x8 hour shifts
Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years’ MRI technologist experience
Siemens equipment and Epic system familiarity preferred
Current BLS certification (AHA only)
MRT and ARRT-MR credentials
Experience with both clinic and hospital environments is beneficial
Professional communication and patient care skills

Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality MRI procedures following exam protocols with minimal supervision
Prepare and position patients ensuring safety, comfort, and an excellent standard of care
Effectively use the AIDET framework to communicate with patients and families
Maintain compliance with all safety, infection control, drug, and radiation requirements
Handle documentation, records, and consent forms according to departmental standards
Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any issues promptly
Collaborate with physicians, engineers, and support staff to optimize operations
Serve as a role model and preceptor for onboarding or team training as needed

Clinic specifics:

Scrub color: Any solid color permitted (no inappropriate prints)
Clinic setting serving a broad patient population
