DESCRIPTION:

Frank Phillips College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Geology Instructor. This full-time faculty position is responsible for providing high-quality instruction in geology courses, including lecture and laboratory components, in support of the College’s academic mission and the Texas Core Curriculum. The instructor may teach traditional, dual-credit, evening, hybrid, and/or distance-learning courses as assigned. The successful candidate will promote student success through effective teaching practices, laboratory management, and student engagement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's degree in Geology with at least 18 graduate hours. Additional hours should be in a related field.
Preferred 2 years of teaching at a college level

Salary is commensurate with experience and education.
