WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

The Front Desk runs best when there’s a strong supervisor keeping a close eye on the team and making sure every guest interaction goes the way it should. As our Front Office Supervisor, you’ll assign shifts, resolve guest issues, communicate with Maintenance and Housekeeping, and be the go-to leader on the floor during your shift. You’ll also assist with hiring and handle advance registrations when needed. If you have Front Office experience, a natural leadership presence, and a passion for guest service, this is a great next step.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Assign duties and shifts to Front Office staff; observe performance to ensure adherence to hotel policies and established operating procedures.
Confer and cooperate with other department heads to ensure coordination of hotel activities across all departments.
Answer inquiries from guests and staff pertaining to hotel policies and services.
Ensure smooth check-in and check-out experiences, positive guest interactions, and overall guest satisfaction.
Work closely with Maintenance and Housekeeping teams to communicate room status, maintenance issues, and coordinate daily operations.
Arrange for private telephone lines and other special guest services as requested.
Monitor public areas; respond to disturbances and address guest concerns in a calm and professional manner.
Assist with interviewing and hiring Front Office team members as needed.

SKILLS & ABILITIES YOU BRING

Ability to read, interpret, and act on business records, financial reports, and statistical data.
Mathematical skills to interpret financial information and assist with budget reporting.
Ability to analyze and apply hotel operational policies and service standards.
Knowledge of government regulations covering hotel business operations.
Sound judgment; ability to make operational decisions based on facts, data, and experience.
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to deal with guests, employees, and officials with tact and courtesy.
1 years of previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferrable in the Front Office Department.

SCHEDULE & HOURS
This position is [full-time, part-time, on-call], with schedules that may vary based on business need. Flexibility to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays, may be required. Specific shift details will be discussed during the interview process.
