Full Job Description

Bookkeeping/Staff Accounting Position

Summary:

Brake Masters is looking for an energetic and professional bookkeeper/staff accountant to join our Corporate Office team. This position will be responsible for a variety of accounting functions, from assisting with AP and AR duties, Bank Reconciliations, Sales & Use tax reporting, preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. You should have a working knowledge and understanding of the entire accounting process.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's of Science in Accounting or equivalent from an accredited institution preferred.

2. A minimum of four years of progressively responsible accounting experience, may substitute

for education requirement.

3. Strong accounting, analytical and investigative skills, and attention to detail.

4. Intermediate capabilities with MS Excel.

5. Understanding of and ability to follow Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
