Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Workers' Compensation Premium Auditor and become a vital part of ensuring accurate and fair insurance premium assessments. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data analysis, risk evaluation, and financial concepts to meticulously review workers' compensation insurance policies. Your energetic approach will help streamline audit processes, identify discrepancies, and promote industry best practices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply advanced analytical skills within a fast-paced environment dedicated to risk management and fraud prevention.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive audits of workers' compensation insurance policies by analyzing payroll data, classification codes, and policy documents.
Assisting our clients to comply with audits.
Utilize data mining and SQL tools to extract relevant information from large datasets for accurate premium calculations.
Develop and refine financial models to assess risk exposure and support premium determination processes.
Identify potential fraud or discrepancies through statistical analysis and data visualization techniques, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Collaborate with clients, brokers, and internal teams through negotiation to resolve audit findings and clarify policy details.
Apply risk analysis methodologies to evaluate the financial impact of various classification scenarios on premiums.
Prepare detailed reports that communicate audit findings clearly, supporting underwriting decisions and regulatory compliance efforts.Skills
Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in data collection, data modeling, and data visualization tools.
Expertise in SQL, VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), and financial software for efficient data manipulation and report generation.
Knowledge of banking risk management principles, financial concepts, and industry regulations related to insurance underwriting.
Advanced statistical analysis capabilities combined with quantitative research experience to assess risk factors accurately.
Familiarity with fraud prevention techniques, risk management strategies, and credit analysis within financial services.
Excellent negotiation skills paired with the ability to interpret complex financial data for diverse stakeholders.
Solid understanding of banking regulatory compliance standards and financial report writing practices.
