Full Job Description

Overview
Restoration and mitigation construction company looking for experienced Bookkeeper/Office Manager. Responsibilities include (not all encompassing) - Handling all accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, overseeing human resources including employee payroll, taxes and pay related questions, responsible for new employee training and proper forms completed, backing up of answering phones, vendor payment issues, responsible for weekly report updating, requesting inspections and payments from mortgage companies, and general answering of questions. Must be well versed in Microsoft Suite, general accounting principles and Quickbooks desktop.

Duties

Manage daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes
Maintain accurate records through bookkeeping and filing systems
Assist with human resources functions, including payroll processing and employee onboarding
Utilize QuickBooks for financial tracking, job costing and budgeting purposes
Ensure proper phone etiquette when handling phone systems

Requirements

Proven experience in bookkeeping
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Familiarity with human resources processes, including payroll administration
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
