Full Job Description

Job Summary

Goodtron Electronics LLC is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Electronics Assembly Technician to join our growing team. We specialize in PCB assembly, prototype builds, and low-volume production.

Candidates with SMT machine operation experience are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate SMT production equipment (preferred)
Perform hand soldering of through-hole and SMT components
Use soldering irons and rework tools for assembly and repair
Load components and assist with SMT production
Inspect assembled PCBs for quality and workmanship
Follow assembly instructions and work orders
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Assist with other production tasks as needed

Qualifications

SMT machine operation experience preferred
Experience with hand soldering and electronic assembly
Comfortable using a soldering iron and basic electronic assembly tools
Ability to read assembly drawings or work instructions
Good attention to detail
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Yamaha SMT machines
PCB assembly or electronics manufacturing experience
Rework and repair experience
IPC certification is a plus (not required)
