Overview

As a Caregiver, you will support children’s development through engaging activities, supervision, and personalized care tailored to each individual’s needs. Responsibilities

Provide attentive supervision and care for children of various ages, including toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children
Plan and implement engaging activities that promote childhood development, learning, and fun
Ensure the safety of all individuals by adhering to child supervision best practices and safety protocols
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to update them on their child's progress and any concerns
Administer basic first aid and CPR in emergency situations following mandated reporting laws and safety guidelines
Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities and providing personalized assistance
Maintain a clean, organized environment conducive to learning and play while following childcare regulations

Qualifications

Experience working with children across various settings such as daycare, babysitting, nannying, or early childhood education programs
Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques
Demonstrated ability to care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children effectively
Valid certifications in first aid and CPR; ongoing training preferred
Strong communication skills for parent updates and teamwork within caregiving staff
Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare
Ability to plan age-appropriate activities that foster growth, creativity, and social skills
