Mailroom Clerk

District: 0762— Western

Employer: LEHI Washington LLC

Reports to: Site Lead, ISD

Mailroom Clerk

Job Summary: LEHI Washington, LLC is hiring a Mailroom Clerk to support daily mail and courier operations at a large downtown Seattle office serving approximately professional staff. You will screen, sort, and route inbound mail; prepare outbound USPS, UPS, FedEx, and courier shipments; and support bulk mailings and special deliveries.

Responsibilities:

Receive, screen (including x-ray scanning), sort, and deliver mail to approximately 25 internal locations
Meet daily pickup deadlines for UPS, USPS, and expedited courier services
Process certified, registered, and special-handling mail within 3 hours of receipt
Prepare bulk mailings and deliver to the Tukwila bulk mail center
Operate a Pitney Bowes metering system, tabbing machine, and folding machine
Maintain daily logs of pouch mail, certified/registered mail, UPS, and courier shipments
Notify staff via email of packages and special deliveries
Support light freight screening

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED
1+ year of mailroom, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience preferred
Comfort operating mail x-ray equipment (training provided)
Willingness to complete a free USPS Bulk Mail Processing class
Strong attention to detail and address interpretation
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Must pass a background investigation for facility badging
Professional appearance and reliable attendance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
