Brooksby Village by Erickson Senior Living

We are hiring a Community Resources Coordinator to bring their passion for resident engagement to our campus.

In this role, you will act as a resource for residents who want to create new social organizations and activities within the independent Living Community. You will plan and execute community events, serve as an ambassador to new residents acclimating to their new environment, provide guidance and information on all available community resources, maintain bookings for all meeting space, fields general inquiries, and assist with special projects as assigned.

To be successful in this role requires a strong team player with a high level of enthusiasm, a can-do attitude, and strong organizational skills. Must have solid computer skills and easily adapt to new technology and systems.

Compensation: commensurate with experience $21-$25/ hour

How you will make an impact

Partner with residents in the planning, promoting, and coordinating of activities and events in the community
Perform preliminary work for monthly calendars
Facilitate communication regarding activities among residents and staff
Create flyers for events; writing articles for community bulletins
Arrange audio/visual equipment with vendors for presentations
Serve as the information center for resident inquiries

What you will need

Minimum of 3 years of experience in service-related roles, including volunteer work or public service
Previous experience working with senior citizens is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Publisher, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
