In this energetic role, you will be responsible for transforming plain donuts into eye-catching treats by applying expert cake decorating techniques, ensuring each donut meets our high standards for appearance and quality. Your enthusiasm for food preparation and pastry artistry will help create a delightful experience for every customer. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, high-volume food production environment while maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

Duties

Decorate donuts with icing, sprinkles, glazes, and other toppings using precise cake decorating techniques
Prepare baked goods by following recipes accurately and ensuring consistent quality in pastry preparation
Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and decorating tools safely and effectively
Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to food safety management practices and sanitation protocols
Assist in food handling and preparation tasks related to baked goods and other confections
Support high-volume production by managing multiple decorating stations during busy periodsSkills
Proven experience in cake decorating, pastry preparation, or food industry roles with a focus on baked goods
Strong knife skills and familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Ability to follow detailed recipes and ensure consistency across large batches of baked items
Excellent customer service skills to engage positively with team members and customers when needed
Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing inventory
Catering or restaurant experience is a plus, demonstrating ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
