Accounts Payable Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: Brookshire, TX

Job Type: Full-Time | Onsite

Salary: $45,000 (DOE)

Join a Growing Manufacturing Team

Elin Energy is a rapidly growing manufacturing company seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Accounting & Finance team.

This is not an entry-level accounting position. We are looking for someone with recent manufacturing accounting experience who understands high-volume invoice processing, vendor management, reconciliations, and month-end responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Process full-cycle Accounts Payable for a high-volume manufacturing environment
Review, verify, and code vendor invoices
Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation
Process weekly vendor payments
Reconcile vendor statements
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies
Maintain vendor records
Perform account reconciliations
Assist with month-end and year-end close
Work closely with Purchasing, Inventory, Warehouse, and Finance
Support inventory-related accounting transactions
Assist during internal and external audits
Complete additional accounting projects as assigned

QualificationsRequired

3–5 years of Accounts Payable experience
Manufacturing accounting experience
Full-cycle AP processing
Vendor statement reconciliations
Month-end close support
General ledger reconciliation experience
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent organizational skills
High attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to maintain confidentiality

Preferred

ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, Infor, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar)
Inventory accounting experience
Manufacturing ERP experience
