Exothermic Molding is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist and Programmer to help build the next generation of our in-house tooling capabilities.This is not simply a machining role. The successful candidate will lead CNC machining operations while working closely with engineering and production teams to develop tooling, molds, and manufacturing processes that support our growing RIM operations.
You will be responsible for transforming customer requirements into production-ready tooling, developing machining processes, documenting best practices, training operators, and helping shape the future of our CNC and mold manufacturing department. This position offers a unique opportunity for an experienced CNC machinist and programmer to expand into mold design, tooling development, and manufacturing leadership while helping build Exothermic's in-house tooling capabilities.

Qualified candidates must have a High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications or coursework in machining is a plus) and a minimum of 5 years of CAD/CAM CNC machining experience in a precision manufacturing environment. Proficiency in setting up and programming CNC machines is required along with a solid understanding of G-code programming and CAD/CAM software and a strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling selection, and material properties. Must be able to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications and have a strong attention to detail, with a focus on producing high-quality, accurate parts.
Excellent communication skills are a must, bilingual in Spanish, a plus.
