Full Job Description

Sinplicity is looking for a pastry professional to take our dessert and baking program to the next level.

For over a decade we’ve been the best corporate caterer in NOVA and DC and we’re excited about the next chapter of our story. While Covid-19 has obviously impacted our business, we’ve taken advantage of the lull to create some exciting new products that we intend to take to the gourmet retail market soon. Our new pastry chef will play a strong role in developing techniques and procedures for these remarkable new items.

Ours is a collaborative environment where all voices are encouraged and heard. We look forward to hearing from you.

Pastry Chef Job Responsibilities:

· Create new dishes and recipes. Help us to innovate and find new ways to exceed our clients’ expectations.

· Follow existing recipes and execute production requirements at a high level.

· Coordinate with our Chef and Operations team to make sure all orders are prepared according to a timely, proactive schedule.

· Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.

· Respect and maintain all equipment used in the execution of your tasks.

· Show strong organization skills.

· Be able to work well under pressure.

· Be a part of a highly collaborative team dynamic.
