Full Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role plays a critical part in the financial health of the organization, and we are looking for someone who can provide exceptional bookkeeping services.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and manage all financial documents, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and ensure that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely payment from clients.
- Prepare and file tax returns and other financial reports.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Maintain a strong understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles.
- Record and process all journal entries and transactions.

- Complete both standard and Certified payroll for employees for various jobs.
- Perform 10-key typing tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized accounting environment, adhering to all corporate accounting standards and regulations.

Requirements

- Proven experience in double entry bookkeeping and corporate accounting.
- Strong understanding of general ledger reconciliation and financial statement preparation.
- Proficiency in accounting software and familiarity with journal entries and financial concepts.
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
- Experience with 10-key typing and a strong typing speed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
