Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Field Automation Services Engineer to drive innovation and efficiency and work closely with our customers in the USA and automation team in Germany . In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems that help drive our customers efficiency . Your expertise will help optimize workflows, improve product quality, and ensure proper communication between Robot and Machine. Duties

Develop, program, and troubleshoot robotic systems using Fanuc and other robotics platforms to automate manufacturing tasks.
Design and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for automation projects using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Integrate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and distributed control systems (DCS) to streamline production processes.
Conduct root cause analysis on automation-related issues to identify solutions and prevent recurrence.
Collaborate with customers and Sales engineers to select tooling, develop machining processes, and optimize mechanical components for automation systems.
Implement vision inspection systems to ensure product quality and consistency through advanced vision technologies.
Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, schematics, and modifications for compliance and troubleshooting purposes.
Installation of automation systems and their components in-house
Training of Operating Personnel After Commissioning
On-site service calls at customer locations (maintenance, repairs, and equipment relocations) as well as in-house tasks

Requirements

Proven experience with robot programming, especially with Fanuc or similar robotic systems.
Strong mechanical knowledge including schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and tooling integration.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
The ability to work independently and organize one's own work
Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), and automation software.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other engineering design tools.
Ability to perform root cause analysis on complex automation issues quickly and effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong communication abilities to work cross-functionally within teams.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
