Full Job Description

Newly created opening for Machining Programming Specialist! Step into a role where you shape how advanced machining systems run every day. This position focuses on programming, process improvement, and bringing new technology into production environments. You will work closely with teams to improve efficiency, support production goals, and expand technical capabilities across the shop. This is a day shift position, offering competitive pay and full benefits.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain CNC programs and macros for machining equipment
Create and manage CAD computer aided design and CAM computer aided manufacturing data and documentation
Support machine setup, tool selection, and fixture design for production processes
Train machine operators and help improve technical knowledge across the team
Evaluate and introduce new technologies to improve machining operations
Investigate production issues and implement solutions to improve performance and quality
Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and production teams to maintain equipment and meet standards

Qualifications

Experience with CNC programming, G code, and machining operations
Familiarity with CAD and CAM
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing GD&T
Experience working with machining equipment, tools, and fixtures
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Degree in a related, technical field preferred
5 years of machine shop experience required
