Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled items, including meats, vegetables, and specialty dishes, following established recipes and presentation standards
Ensure all food is handled safely, maintaining proper hygiene and sanitation practices in accordance with food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness of the grill station, utensils, and work area throughout each shift to promote a safe and efficient kitchen environment
Monitor cooking times and temperatures meticulously to ensure perfect results every time
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation for large orders or catering events
Follow all food handling procedures diligently to prevent cross-contamination and ensure guest safety

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a dietary aide within a restaurant or food industry setting
Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques specific to grilling and meal assembly
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Experience with menu planning, catering, and fine dining environments is highly desirable
Excellent understanding of kitchen operations, including food service workflows and kitchen experience
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and ensure smooth service flow
