Full Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Welder/Fitter Machinist to join our dynamic fabrication team. The Welder Fitter / Machinist is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, trouble shooting, and maintenance repairs on production, maintenance equipment, and piping systems. They are also responsible for weld repairs to process equipment, piping, and vessels as well as fabricating metal components as necessary for maintenance and production requirements. They may also assist other craftsmen as skills permit and workload requires.

Responsibilities

High School Diploma / GED along with technical, industrial craft degree
Minimum 3 years journeyman millwright experience in lieu of degree
Must be dual craft
2 years' experience in Pipe Fitting
2 years minimum experience as a welder in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Able to pass welder qualification tests
Able to use and demonstrate safe use of pneumatic and power tools issued
Physical requirements include climbing stairs, ladders, and moderate to heavy lifting at times
Able to work without close supervision
Able to communicate verbally and in writing with other craftsmen
Able to follow written and verbal instructions
AWS (American Welding Society) Certification (Preferred)

Pay: From $42.56 per hour
