Full-Time | Monday - Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Salary Range: $93,600 - $108,160 annually
(Equivalent to $45.00 - $52.00 per hour, based on experience)

Lorien Mount Airy is seeking an experienced MDS Coordinator (Registered Nurse) to join our award-winning skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. This full-time leadership role is ideal for a dedicated RN with RAC-CT certification, strong knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement systems, and experience coordinating comprehensive resident assessments and care plans within a skilled nursing facility. Full-Time, Monday - Friday
Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
No On-Call Rotation Required

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and complete MDS assessments in accordance with federal and state regulations
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of RAI process documentation
Facilitate interdisciplinary care plan meetings
Oversee Medicare PPS and Medicaid reimbursement processes
Monitor clinical documentation to support reimbursement and regulatory compliance
Collaborate with nursing, therapy, social services, and medical providers to ensure quality resident outcomes
Maintain compliance with CMS guidelines and long-term care regulations

Qualifications

Current Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing
RAC-CT Certification Required
Minimum of two (2) years of MDS Coordinator, Clinical Reimbursement, or RN Care Coordinator experience
Strong understanding of:
Medicare PPS
Medicaid CMI
Care Area Assessments (CAA)
RAI Process
Skilled Nursing Facility documentation requirements
Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or post-acute rehabilitation preferred
