About the Role
I'm a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and entrepreneur building a modern lifestyle, wellness, and mental health brand across Instagram and TikTok.
I'm looking for a creative content partner who loves storytelling, filmmaking, and creating visually engaging short-form content.
This is not a traditional editing or social media management position. I'm looking for someone who wants to collaborate, bring ideas to the table, experiment with creative concepts, and help shape the visual identity of a growing brand.
The goal is to create a body of work that feels like a story—not just a collection of posts.
I want to create content that captures the intersection of mental health, entrepreneurship, wellness, creativity, lifestyle, and personal growth in a way that feels cinematic, intentional, and authentic.
If you are someone who watches a Reel and immediately notices the camera angles, lighting, music choice, storytelling, pacing, or emotional feeling behind it, you'll probably love this role.
You'll be helping build the creative world around a brand from the beginning.
As the brand grows, there will be opportunities for increased hours, expanded responsibilities, and a larger creative role.
What You'll Do
Creative Direction & Story Development
You will work closely with me to help develop the creative direction and storytelling of the brand.
We'll typically meet weekly, preferably in person. Depending on the week, Fridays will either be a creative planning meeting or a filming day.
Responsibilities include:
- Brainstorming content ideas and creative concepts
- Turning everyday moments, conversations, experiences, and ideas into content
- Pulling story ideas from conversations we have together
- Helping develop scripts, talking points, and educational video concepts
- Creating recurring content series
- Planning the emotional direction and feeling behind videos
- Reviewing analytics and discussing what content resonates
- Identifying trends that fit naturally with the brand
- Creating shot lists before filming
- Building mood boards or visual inspiration
- Selecting music or audio before filming to establish the vibe
- Helping coordinate locations, outfits, props, and overall aesthetic
- Developing a recognizable visual style
I'm looking for someone who naturally thinks:
"That conversation would make a great video."
"There is a story here."
"What feeling do we want people to have when they watch this?"
"How can we make this more cinematic?"
