As our company continues to grow, we are looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join us in crafting high-quality refractory steel forms and structural assemblies.

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Welder/Fabricator with strong technical capabilities and a solid work ethic. In this role, you will fabricate steel forms and custom assemblies to tight tolerances, working directly from engineering drawings, blueprints, and templates. You will join a collaborative, high-performing team that values precision, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Fabrication & Assembly: Fabricate precision steel molds, forms, and frames for castable refractory products.
Blueprint Reading: Read, interpret, and work accurately from blueprints, shop drawings, and templates.
Welding: Execute high-quality MIG welds (and occasional stick welding) on structural 1/4\"+ A36 steel, rebar, and custom anchors.
Tool Operation: Safely operate cutting, grinding, and forming equipment, including acetylene torches, band saws, hand grinders, and rolling machines.
Quality Assurance: Inspect completed welds and conduct final fit-up checks to ensure adherence to strict quality standards.
Shop Support & Fabrication: Assist with custom fabrication projects, jig creation, and continuous shop improvements.
Safety & Workplace Standards: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

2+ years of structural welding and fabrication experience preferred (willing to train candidates with strong foundational skills).

Compensation & Benefits

Starting Pay: $24.00 / hour
