Full Job Description

CNC Mill Operator – No CNC Experience Required

Mecca Talent is seeking dependable, motivated individuals for CNC Mill Operator opportunities with a growing precision manufacturing operation.

CNC experience is NOT required. We are open to candidates from a variety of manufacturing, production, warehouse, construction, or other hands-on backgrounds. If you have a solid work history, good attendance, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn, we encourage you to apply.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to learn CNC machining and develop valuable manufacturing skills.

Position Summary

The CNC Mill Operator will be trained to operate CNC milling equipment used to manufacture precision components. Candidates will learn how to run established CNC programs, monitor equipment, inspect finished parts, and ensure products meet quality specifications.

What You'll Do

Operate CNC milling machines following established procedures and programs.
Load and unload parts and materials.
Monitor machines throughout the production process.
Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality.
Learn to read blueprints, specifications, and job instructions.
Use basic measuring and inspection tools.
Maintain production and quality standards.
Identify and report potential equipment or quality issues.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all company safety procedures.
Work closely with experienced team members while learning CNC machining processes.

What We're Looking For

Previous CNC experience is not required.

We are willing to train candidates who demonstrate:

A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools or equipment.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Basic math skills.

Previous manufacturing or production experience is helpful, but candidates from other industries with a strong work history are encouraged to apply.

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred.
CNC or machining education is not required.

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to:

Lift and move up to 50 lbs.
Stand for extended periods.
Perform repetitive manufacturing tasks.
Regularly bend, stoop, reach, and use hand tools.
Visually inspect parts and read work instructions and measurements.
