Gardena Physical Therapy is seeking a Senior Physical Therapist to serve as a Clinic Lead and Clinical Instructor in our growing outpatient orthopedic practice. What Makes This Position Different?

At Gardena Physical Therapy, we actively develop our therapists into leaders and educators.

As a Clinical Instructor, you'll receive support and opportunities to mentor physical therapy students through our academic partnerships while earning additional incentives for student supervision.

This position also provides a pathway toward future clinic director and management opportunities.

ResponsibilitiesClinical Care

Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Deliver evidence-based orthopedic rehabilitation and manual therapy
Monitor patient progress and outcomes
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and self-management
Complete timely and compliant documentation

Leadership

Mentor PTs, PTAs, aides, and support staff
Assist with clinic operations and quality initiatives
Support staff development and onboarding
Collaborate with physicians, referral sources, and administration

Clinical Instruction

Supervise and mentor physical therapy students
Complete student evaluations and CPI assessments
Coordinate with academic programs and clinical education faculty
Foster a positive learning environment focused on excellence in patient care

QualificationsRequired

Active California Physical Therapist License
Minimum 2 years of outpatient orthopedic experience
Strong manual therapy and orthopedic evaluation skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Ability to manage a full caseload efficiently

Preferred

APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Prior student supervision experience
Clinic lead or supervisory experience
OCS, FAAOMPT, MDT, or other advanced certifications
